This project tells us about memory and the way we store memories in our minds. Some are diffuse, lacking images, while others become phrases, conversations or poetry, allowing that moment to stay alive.

"The photograph that is equivalent to 'this has been', that is, there is no possibility of a future in it, since it is limited to mechanically repeating that which, on an existential level, cannot occur again," in the words of Roland Barthes.

This is where I stop to explore photography in each micro-instant as a dying of many things: living and transforming. In this project, conceptual and documentary photography is found united with poetry as the element that keeps that image alive, the alchemical element that gives life to that death of the moment.

As we can observe images that transport us to experiences, this project is the channel to release memories, talk about them, turn them into poetry and open the door to redefine painful memories or those images that deserve to honor their perishable moment.

By letting go of everything that no longer makes up that image, we will live conscious of that micro-instant that will not happen again and that will be captured by an image that can only have life through the imagination, has life through the "memory of what was", and Through the word the weight of the observer can be poured into it.

This project also invites each of us to navigate the depths of each image, to observe our mental images. What does our mind constantly tell us?

It is a reminder that it is necessary to know the mind in order to quiet it and play with it. You are not what your mind tells you; you can tame it not by the force of repression, but by the force of stillness.

It is a journey through different stories of the moment, documentary travel photography, encounters with inspiring beings, metaphor and poetry; a facility to interact with mental images.
